Topeka has some great places to see the arts. That includes the North Topeka Arts District, Mulvane Art Museum, and The Great Mural Wall of Topeka. Another place to see the arts is at
the Topeka and Shawnee County Library. This month is a very special month there.
From now till March 10th, it is being hailed as Youth Art Month! Here is what is said via the website:
View artwork from elementary, middle and high school students from across Kansas in the Alice C. Sabatini Gallery Feb 11 – March 10. Teachers nominate students to participate in this Kansas Art Education Association (KAEA) exhibit as part of Youth Art Month. Every art teacher may nominate one piece of student artwork from every school where they teach. Participants must be enrolled in grades K-12 and all artwork must be original.
It is a great opportunity to meet the students who created this amazing art and see who could win awards in March at the KAEA Youth Art Month Celebration.
