Fright Fest Brings Spooky Drink Specials To Local Zoo

On October 13, the Topeka Zoo and Conservation Center will be hosting it’s annual Fright Fest, formerly known and loved as ‘BOOze at the Zoo.” This 21+ event offers fun for everyone, whether you’re partying or the designated driver. Enjoy an evening full of drinks, halloween-themed shots, live DJ’s, and food trucks! Costumes are preferred for this event – you can find rules for costumes on their Facebook event. The best costume in each category will win $100, sponsored by KSNT! Categories include ‘Best Couple/Duo’, ‘Most Creative Costume’, and ‘Best Movie/TV Character.’

In addition to mixed drinks, multiple breweries will also be taking part in the fun. Breweries include: Happy Bassett Brewing Co., Norseman Brewing Company, The Blind Tiger, Boulevard, Stella Artois, and more! Food truck highlights include Tod’s BBQ, Papa Murphy’s, and Drasko’s Food Truck. If none of these are catching your eye, the Topeka Zoo still claims that there are even more food trucks to come!

Tickets are available now! A general admission ticket is $40 and a designated driver ticket is $20. If you plan on joining in on the fun, don’t wait! After October 8th, ticket prices will go up $5 each. To buy tickets, check out the link here.
