
Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 12, 2025, as Helping Hands Humane Society (HHHS) hosts its annual Paws in the Park event. This beloved pet-friendly and family-friendly festival will take place from 10 AM to 2 PM at the HHHS facility located at 5720 SW 21st St, Topeka, KS.
Paws in the Park is a cherished tradition in Topeka, bringing together pet lovers from all over the community. This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever, featuring a pet-friendly carnival theme. Attendees can look forward to a variety of activities, including:
- Food trucks offering delicious treats for both humans and pets.
- Local vendors showcasing pet-related products and services.
- Games and activities for pets and their owners.
- Opportunities to adopt pets from HHHS.
Pet Care Guidelines
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees, HHHS has set the following guidelines:
- All dogs must be on non-retractable leashes and up-to-date on vaccinations.
- Cats must be in carriers or harnessed.
- Each attendee may bring no more than two dogs.
- Clean up after your pets to keep the grounds clean.
- Any dogs displaying aggression will be asked to leave.
